1/30 New moon @ 10 Aquarius – the new crescent will mark the new month of Adar I, the 13th month inserted into the calendar to align the solar and lunar cycles.

1/31 Jupiter (Cancer) square Pluto (Capricorn) at 12 degrees – a landmark towards the exact cross in April. Jupiter goes direct again on Mar 6 which allows for another exact square. Venus is close by at 13 Capricorn, where the exact cardinal cross will take place in April.

Venus Direct Yet Venus retrorgrade does not take Venus to 12 Capricorn where the Jupiter-Pluto square is taking place. Rather, 12 hours after the Jupiter-Pluto square, Venus goes direct again at 13*34′ Capricorn and begins moving ahead through the sign, moving towards the sun, trailing as the morning star, and retracing the route it has been on since late December.

Sun quincunx Jupiter 12 Aquarius/Cancer – the Jupiter-Pluto square is compounded by another uneasy aspect at the 12th degree, bridging fixed air and cardinal water.

Also on the 31st, Mercury the messenger enters Pisces the subconscious.

  1. On Thursday, Jan. 30th, the Moon will eclipse the sun for almost 2.5 hours. You have to be in space to see it. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory s set to record the “lunar transit,” which begins at 1331 UTC or 8:31 EST. A simulation shows that approximately 90% of the sun will covered. SDO is solar powered, so mission controllers have charged-up the spacecraft’s batteries to endure the blackout. Stay tuned for images during the eclipse! http://spaceweather.com/
