July 7-Aug 17: The Kabbalistic month of Av and the Eternal Temple of the Heart

Image

Sometimes something needs to be torn down and destroyed in order for a more solid structure to be erected in its place.

This is the secret of why the first and second temples were destroyed in the month of Av (Leo), and why the eternal third temple, constructed first and foremost inside the heart, will be erected in this month precisely.

The advantage of the third temple in relation to the first and second is akin to the relationship between the righteous and the penitent, of those who never fall to those who fell, and rose again, and who incorporate all stumbling into their new stature.

This is the secret of the eternal nature of the third temple – it cannot be destroyed, because it has already incorporated destruction into growth, and draws its life-force directly from the divine crown itself, and is eternally created anew.

June 19-23: Jupiter/Sun alignment, Summer Solstice, June Supermoon: A 2013 Watershed Moment

20130619-193502.jpg

Earlier today we experienced a conjunction of the Sun and Jupiter across from the galactic center. On Thursday night the sun enters Cancer, marking the solstice and the longest day and proximity to the Sun. On Sunday, we will have a supermoon in Capricorn.

The alignment, solstice and full moon are shaping up to be a watershed moment for what has been building since the winter solstice and what remains to be brought to light.

To learn how the alignments affect your personal soul trajectory, find where the degrees 28 Gemini and 3 Capricorn appear in your own chart, or ask me for a reading or to get you started.

What’s the sum of four t-squares? In this case, a grand air trine…

20120925-225623.jpg

Wow! Are you feeling it? We have FOUR T-Squares in the sky right now between powerful planets!! The rules are just not working…unless you are the one making them. It may be wise to speak your needs briefly & skidaddle! Some are not ready for the innocence of new wisdom emerging from UNexpected places. There is a great synthesis occurring in the global mind and much insight is flowing to individual consciousness to facilitate liberation from what has bound us. TRUST is the name of the game, and the rewards are grand!

T-Square #1: Pluto in Cap, Uranus in Aries, Sun in Libra
#2: Neptune in Pisces, Venus in Leo, Mars in Scorpio
#3: Moon in Aquarius, Venus in Leo, Mars in Scorpio
#4: Pluto in Cap, Uranus in Aries, Mercury in Libra
Grand Air Trine: Moon in Aquarius conjunct MC on the West Coast chart, Jupiter in Gemini, Mercury in Libra

Yom Kippur practices for all

On Yom Kippur it is customary to fast from sunset on the 25th through nightfall on the 26th. Unlike other fasts, on Yom Kippur we fast because we are like the angels.

I would also recommend reading the ten psalms:

10 Psalms recited every day which assures that one’s soul will find one’s true destined pathway without being interfered with or side-tracked by other people, the negative influences of klipot.

The essence of Tikkun Klali is that one is looking for one’s true destined pathway, asking for guidance to be in the right place with the right destined soul mate, livelihood and true purpose in life.

Of course what matters is what’s on the inside but these practices help open up the gateway available on this day insofar as we are enmeshed in physicality and distracted.

Astrologically the 26th this year is a powerful chart, there’s a grand air trine between Mercury, Jupiter and the moon, which could facilitate prophecy, messages from guides, and intuitiveness as well as mental powers. In terms of current events there is also a Pluto in Cap – Sun in Libra – Uranus in Aries t-square which feels explosive and unstable to me. Secretive power plays, pretensions of justice, and hasty action for a brief window on this day…

To all fasting have an easy fast and may you all be inscribed in the book of life!

On this day we are cleansed of all iniquity and at the exit of the holiday we begin again pure.

New crescent moon sighting in Jerusalem

20120917-184134.jpg

The new crescent moon as seen from Jerusalem on Monday evening heralds the onset of the new Kabbalistic Year 5773, the Year of Great Delight (ע״ג) and a re-entrance to the Garden of Eden (ג״ע).

The new moon chart for Monday night is actually much friendlier than the one for Sunday night. While Sunday night was the astrological dark moon, when no moon is apparent in the night sky, Monday night is the first crescent moon and is the astrological marker for the new month and new year in the Kabbalistic calendar.

The new moon is now in harmony with Jupiter in Gemini, fostering more channels between mind and heart and a certain comfort in living from the heart and letting the heart lead the mind rather than stand at odds with it. The moon is also in harmony with Chiron and deep healing is taking place in those area where we may feel we had no strength or creativity of our own to heal, we are simply being served opportunities and scenarios by the universe that do much of the healing for us. All we need to do is hold on and trust that the divine is right by our side, that we are never alone, and moreover, that we are the ones were been waiting for, that the real site of certainty, wholeness, health and connection is lying patiently within for us to gently turn to and get to know.

The moon is paying a visit to Saturn in Libra before Saturn continues on to Scorpio on October 6th. This will be a shift for many, especially those experiencing their first or second Saturn returns or with planets or rising signs in Scorpio. On a societal level, Saturn in Scorpio will begin to download ancient secrets in an esteemed and respectable manner and the world will begin to turn an ear to that which has been dismissible. It is for this reason that the moon is stopping by and delivering some intuitive magic to the authority of secrets so that the transmission be authentic and honorable at the same time. We truly live in historic times and the stars are conspiring to awaken us on an individual and collective level. Those who identify as lightbearers need only keep in mind that they are never truly alone, and the more obstacles they encounter on their invaluable path, the more stores of light open up in their internal switchboard and the more the sense of wonder will be in days to come.

May all have a sweet new year, and may you witness the glorious light within you!

Blessings,

Ayala

Rosh Chodesh Shvat & Aqauarius New Moon

This Wednesday marks the beginning of the Jewish lunar month of Shvat (kicking off with an Aquarius new moon). The holiday of the month of Shvat is Tu Bishvat at the full moon. On Tu Bishvat the effect of winter rains begins to be felt, and the sap–lifeforce–begins to ascend from the earth into the trunk and branches of the trees. New fruit begins to appear at the tips of the branches, thus beginning a New Year of Trees. Read more @ inner.org

On a deeper level, Shvat also represents an opening to the Tree of Life, our primordial destiny of everlasting vitality and wisdom:

Along the river, on either bank, will grow every kind of fruit tree with leaves that never wither and fruit that never fails; they will bear new fruit every month, because this water comes from the sanctuary. And their fruit will be good to eat and the leaves medicinal. (Ezekiel 47:12)
In Kabbalah, the Tree of Life represents the blueprint of creation, replicated in the Godhead, the Human Being, the creative process and all of the natural world. Every phenomenon is rooted in infinite divinity, and branches out to encopmass the Divine qualities of wisdom and understanding, expansiveness and contraction, delight, intuition and beauty, endurance and submission, foundation and revelation.
Zohar, Radiance, of this expanse brilliantly illumines the garden, and the Tree of Life stands in the middle of the garden, its branches covering all those forms, trees, and spices in worthy garments. Beneath it all beasts of the field find shade, and all brids of the sky dwell beneath those brances.

Zohar, radiance! Fruit of the tree provides life to all, existing foreever and ever. The Other Side (Evil) does not abide there–only the side of holiness. Happy is the share of those who taste it, existing forever and ever!

The New Moon in Aquarius represents a time for new beginnings sychronized with our connection to the Whole. All real change begins with the awareness that our true self is already aligned with the change, that perfection exists on a different plane, and we are merely opening and allowing it to manifest below in our lives. The mystery of rebirth in nature that begins in these next few weeks reawakens us to the eternal seeds within our consciousness and within the earth, that no matter how much our reality has been encumbered by limitation, we remember the way back to the Tree of Life, and are ready to claim it as our destiny.
A good week, and a good month to all!  שבוע טוב וחודש טוב
Namaste,

Pluto transits and the wheel of transformation

When transiting Pluto forms aspects to our natal planets, we can feel a powerful undercurrent of transformation rock an area of our life that we were sure stood steady. Pluto is best at pointing out the deepest layers of hypocrisy, self-escape, or hidden insecurities and instead exposing our vulnerabilities, re-igniting unmet dreams and buried parts of our identity, and unearthing discontinuities between our deepest, highest selves and the way in which we have lived our lives up until this point. Pluto’s methods are aimed at total, uncompromising revealing of all truths–kind of like a surprise police search–which can be completely unsetting and even frightening, as there are no more drawers, cabinets and safes in which the ego can hide; all has been opened, and almost violated. Yet in this case the means justify the ends: Pluto is constantly moving towards and is guided by the unwavering urge to manifest that which is most precisely aligned with the soul’s essence and life purpose.

With Pluto presently at 4 Capricorn, this transit will have a particularly strong effect on those with their sun, rising sign, or key planets in the opening arc of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn). As Pluto aligns with our natal planets, it unearths all the dirt that has accumulated in the recesses and clears the channel between us and our planets. Even if a certain planet has brought us a lot of blessings, those blessings can only be fully integrated into our personalities and brought into the world if they are pure, that is, if they are deeply and authentically aligned with our true self. And if we need a refresher on who our true self is, Pluto is happy to provide it, although the void may come before the answer. What’s important to remember in a Pluto transit is that destruction is the basis for rebuilding, darkness precedes light, and void opens the space for Life.

Are you curious how Pluto’s transit through Capricorn is affecting your own birth planets? Feel free to post your birth time and place and/or your planets’ coordinates if you know them, and I’ll offer what I can see through my own study and intuition. Also feel free to share whatever you wish about current issues you are facing and resolutions you are seeking.

Blessings,
