The Swan, Self-Realization and the Illumination of Subtle Knowledge: Aquarius Full Moon 8/20

cygnus constellation

Saturday night Capricorn moon growing towards a full moon on Tuesday at 6:45pm PST at 28 Aquarius in the constellation Cygnus – the Swan

This is the second consecutive full moon in Aquarius. These full moons bring new illumination to the worlds of hidden knowledge that have been with humanity for eons and are now arising in our consciousness through subtle awareness. This hidden knowledge includes information about our sun’s binary star, our own solar system’s relationship with other heavenly bodies, our true reference point, our real origin and destiny. We are approaching the culmination of grand cycles and our knowledge base is being upgraded to consciously experience what is happening. Consciousness is a part of the shift, we are the center of this shift, our own self-realization is the self-realization of the cosmos.

Self-realization on the cosmic scale necessitates fluidity of form. This is the modality of the swan (from Your Lost Zodiac Sign): “Passive and contemplative, you can play any role the world imposes on you, but anyone who thinks that they can pin you down is doomed to fail. The swan is a symbol of personal growth and transformation and it is through playing many roles that you discover your real self and come into your own.”

October 28th 2011 and the Culmination of the Mayan Calendar in Astrology

Today (Friday) is the first day of the dawning of unity consciousness that has never been experienced before–not even by the Divine itself. The awareness that will unfold in the coming moments, hours, days, weeks, months and years is the culmination of all of human history and the very purpose of Creation. Let’s take a look at the chart for this momentous day (noon, 28 October 2011, Jerusalem):

A few comments on the chart:

1) Neptune and Chiron in 1st first house: If this was a person’s chart, I would say that this person’s identity will be excavated only through deep processes of spiritual healing, in which spiritual growth accelerates healing and vice versa, throughout life, while all the time amassing robustness of personality and self-knowledge, even though they may be delayed until the fruits of healing blossom. This person’s sense of self in this sense would be almost retrospective, realizing who they have become, only in light of how far they have come, while the needle-point of their personality in this moment will be a sort of blind spot, hidden by the burden of soul demands and healing processes churning deep within almost incessantly. Since we are talking about a global scale, and not just an individual person, we may say that the changes which are going to be taking place during this time may happen with an initial lack of self-consciousness, in the sense that they may whisk us away into new modes of being without our even realizing the massive tidal waves of change taking place within and without. It’s almost as if the news will be reporting that a new dawn has broken, but it will be in the guise of normalcy, such that only if we painstakingly compare one moment to the next we will realize the magnitude of what is taking place. This comparing however, is altogether unneccessary, as the level of self-consciousness that we are used to having of events and change is miniscule compared to the awareness that is being birthed through the changes that are unfolding. In other words, it may be better if we do not take diligent notes of what is happening, because the ‘we’ that is taking these notes is exactly what is dissolving into purer form. We will not lose our individuality, in the same way that a person with Neptune and Chiron in the 1st does not lose themselves; rather, the reigns are given over to the deeper, wiser and eternal forces that stimulate expansion and healing. The fact that Chiron is in Pisces only accentuates the fogginess that will be felt, but the guideline is the same: there is a light that is strong enough to shine in this fog, and that is what we are looking for, rather than try to make our dim lights try to penetrate that which is more refined, we keep our eyes out for the rays that carry the vibration of all that we are yearning for and all that we have been promised for eternity.

2) Neptune and Chiron opposite Mars in Leo in the 7th house: Counter to the sense of losing ourself in foggy, confused, amorphous anticipation is a strong, direct and bold desire to exert ourselves and be seen, to shine in our glory and to move forward with precision and selfhood. Could these two impulses be any more opposed? Not really. Moreover, they are both aggravated by an incessant probing energy, seeking to go deeper and deeper into every conflict, tension and potential minefield, by the Mercury-Venus-Moon stellium in Scorpio (10th house). Deep emotional and mental probing, questioning and circling, a loss of a limited sense of self in the onset of higher dimensions of being and becoming, and a persistent desire to be seen, accepted and loved for all that we are–these make up the heated T-square of the day. The answer to balancing these energies may life in the realms of creativity and grounding, embodied by Taurus in the 4th house of home, and Gemini in the 5th house of creativity and children. Strive to be like a child, give up trying to take notes and keep track, be who you are in the moment with less censorship, and let the processes carry themselves out. You may find that traditional, biologically-evolutionary linked activities such as cooking, cleaning, putting things in their place, marking territory, and gathering with your tribe, are comforting and reassuring. Just be sure to let your streak of individuality reign free in all that you do. This will be your breath of fresh air, in every moment.

3) Saturn in Libra may be what saves the day, exerting an all-too-necessary force of restraint and balance on these pressure points in the chart. Everything is being weighed and accounted for, everything is finding its place — parts of ourselves within, parts of our lives, nations across the world, and all the words themselves. While our instinct may be to accelerate all forces of healing and probe to the depths and salvage all that we can, there is a force in the background that is ever-present and ever-aware of the natural place of all things, of the perfection of being that vibrates calmly and radiates balance and harmony. Because of this, all of our busy-bee running around may be necessary to prove to ourselves that something is happening…but once we realize and affirm the newness of what is becoming, then everything may in fact become quite calm. Almost like a two-year-old having a tantrum; the moment they realize that they are seen, they can revert to carefree joy and content as if nothing had ever ticked them in the first place. Find your pillars and stability and stillness–these as always will be precious footholds on the mountain stretching up to the heavens before you.

Blessings on your journey,

Ayala

Alchemizing the Law of Attraction

From the law of attraction we learn that we attract that which is in alignment with our current vibration: if we feel abundant and rich, we attract fortune and wealth; if we are constricted and fearful, we attract negativity and obstacle. What is the way out of this maze? How can we leap from fear, negativity and constriction to abundance, joy and prosperity? How can we shift our vibration when we feel locked in predetermined cycles and deep-ingrained fears, constrictions and patterns?

The Kabbalistic approach to the Law of Attraction has a twist to it: All darkness is actually in essence condensed light; all obstacles contain within them the key to transcending them; all fallen manifestations are in fact reflections of spheres of wholeness and perfection on high. In astrology, we see this in the ability of an astrolger or an individual to transform challenging aspects or placements into opportunities for growth; in Tarot, cards of misfortune as guiding posts and friction which can be mobilized for epic shifts; in meditation, we can focus on pain until it becomes fluid enough to provoke healing. In all spiritual and intuitive disciplines, the practitioner has the power to shift perspective and transform hardship into gain merely by infusing the layout with light, joy and conscious awareness.

The hardships we are sent are not merely thought patterns or experiences from which we are asked to flee for abstract hopes of serenity, but are rather the building blocks from which Source Divine wants us to reach our serenity. And in fact, by accepting our current situation for what it is–building blocks–we have already arrived at serenity, the vibration from which all blessing begins and to which all blessing flows.

The first potential pitfall arrives the moment we feel the discomfort of the obstacle, when it nags at our very being and desperately tugs at our ego’s particular view on how things should be. We are paralyzed by the stark contrast between the riches we have began cultivating and the dagger that has been thrown directly into our palace, we are programmed to stand aghast at the irrationality of a universe that could send such an unfitting disturbance into our midst at such a critical time. The origin of our reaction of such a cry of injustice derives from two faulty assumptions: the first is that our present justification that the way in which we are carrying forth is unblemished and in its highest, most perfect form. The second is that that which has disturbed us has arrived to throw us off, holds no message of its own, and is best dealt with by building missile defense systems and counter-missiles until we feel secure in the fortress of our own self-justification and the nihilation of all that is foreign to the narrow way in which we have defined ourselves and our purpose.

Yet if we align ourselves to a Higher self within our own creative process and within our own self-development, we will become so attuned that we will even pick up on the molecules of goodness that are contained in that which we had initially identified as an intruder. For nothing exists in this world without a spark of the divine; and in fact, once we identify the divine spark within a thing, that which was abhorrent, constrictive, and derailing in the disturbance falls away, and for this purpose it came our way. In a dualistic world of spirit and matter, our task is to refine matter in a way that it reflects the highest vibration of Spirit, through our daily interaction with outside events and with our own thoughts and emotions. Moreover, whereas in previous generations this process took place mostly on the scale of world history and society at large, today it takes place mostly in the realm of our own individual experience.

In other words the battlefield for the cosmic battle of liberating God from within the constricting vibration of matter takes place within the world of our own thought, and in particular, within the minds of those who become aware of the importance of their own conscious mental abilities. When we can relinquish attachment to the rigidity of the ego and attune ourselves selflessly in search of the Higher good in that which may appear as an opposition, we are actually working out the remaining “kinks” of God Himself. Every time we transcend ourselves and orient towards that which appears to threaten our smaller selves with an intention to redeem the Light from within the constriction, we are doing something which has never been done quite like this before; we are alchemizing the very molecules of thought, emotion and everything that will unravel from this point forward.

Because of the supreme importance of this momentary disassociation with self, disciplined surrender to the vibration of that which feels contrary to self, and the redemption of that which corresponds to Higher Self from within the disturbance, there are bound to be immense difficulties on this path. Density prefers if we ignore our disturbances, label them as useless, and toss them into the Trash bin–rather than the Recycle bin. However, if we are bold enough to believe that the Source of everything is Spirit, and that no density is strong enough to conceal Light in the face of unprecedented willpower flowing from our exhilaration of Oneness, then we can actually undo the last knots of God’s being, and prepare for the complete unravelling of matter into its true nature and its true holographic reality–the Spirit from which it came, and the Spirit which is its destiny.

Those who sow in sorrow will harvest in joy–the seeds within the earth’s clefts of matter are the very nuggets of immortality which will become the new soil from which eternal Life will begin, and the souls who believed in this reality all along will be the leaders in the Dance of Exaltation for all that is eternal, true and joyful in this universe, for that which they knew all along was inseparable from source.
